Historic Clean Sweep For India Against New Zealand:- Team India registered a world record and is the first team in the world to clean sweep a T20 series in the history of cricket. After leading the series by 4-0, the final T20 took place last evening. India won the toss and decided to bat first. Virat Kolhi is rested and Rohit Sharma took charge as the captain. Rohit Sharma (60), KL Rahul (45) and Shreyas Iyer (33 not out) delivered their best and India made 163/3 in their 20 overs. Scott Kuggeleijn (2/25), Hamish Bennett (1/21) have been decent with the ball for New Zealand.
Chasing a decent total of 164, the top order of New Zealand tumbled down and they could not stand before the pace of Indian bowlers. The struggling team managed to get 156/9 in their 20 overs and India won the match by seven runs. Ross Taylor (53), Tim Seifert (50) have been decent among the New Zealand batsmen. Jasprit Bumrah (3/12) got his best numbers with the ball and Navdeep Saini (2/23), Shardul Thakur (2/38) managed to pick other wickets. Jasprit Bumrah has been named as the Player of the Match while KL Rahul has been named as the Player of the Tournament.
