IPL 2020 Postponed To April 15th:- The latest season of IPL has been planned to commence from March 29th and with the coronavirus outbreak, the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is now pushed. The tournament will start on April 15th. India already issued travel restrictions and foreign players cannot join IPL 2020 before April 15th. The Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) issued a statement to the press saying "The BCCI is concerned and sensitive about all its stakeholders, and public health in general, and it is taking all necessary steps to ensure that, all people related to IPL including fans have a safe cricketing experience".

BCCI also said that it would closely monitor the situations and will work with the Indian Government along with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. The new schedule is prepared and the decision about the number of league matches will be taken soon. It is unclear if IPL 2020 will be conducted in closed stadiums or if the crowds will be allowed to the stadiums. More updates about the IPL 2020 will be finalized and announced soon by the BCCI.
