Sanjay Manjrekar Thrown Out From The Commentary Panel:- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) dropped out Indian veteran cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar from the Commentary panel. Sanjay Manjrekar has been an active member of the panel from the past few years for Indian matches. He is now dropped out from the panel for IPL 2020 which is planned to start from April 15th. Sanjay Manjrekar was not present for the first ODI between India and South Africa which was a washout due to rain. The other panel members Sunil Gavaskar, L Sivaramakrishnan, and Murali Kartik have been present.
Though the real reasons were not disclosed, it is heard that BCCI is not happy with Sanjay Manjrekar and his work. Sanjay Manjrekar landed into controversies with his social media posts. He called Ravindra Jadeja a cricketer with bits and pieces. Sanjay Manjrekar even questioned the credentials of Harsh Bhogle. This may be a reason for dropping Sanjay Manjrekar from the panel. BCCI canceled the other two ODIs between India and South Africa because of the coronavirus. IPL 2020 too has been postponed from March 29th to April 15th.
