T20 Cricket World Cup Likely To Be Postponed To 2022:- The coronavirus scare left the world shut and several events are pushed and called off. All the sports events are put on hold. The cricket T20 World Cup which was scheduled to take place this year in Australia is now pushed. This might open a window for Indian Premiere League to happen in October this year. All the board members of the International Cricket Council will hold a video conference after which the final decision will be made. It is heard that the cricket T20 World Cup is now pushed to 2022 and it will not happen this year.

Now if the coronavirus situations improve, the IPL 2020 is in plans to happen in October or November this year. A T20 World Cup has been scheduled to happen in October 2021 in India and hence cricket T20 World Cup has been pushed to 2022. There was no World Cup planned in 2022 and this year's tournament will now be pushed to 2022. India will host T20 World Cup for 2021 and Australia will host the T20 World Cup for 2022. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly too will participate in the meeting and will support the move in tomorrow's meeting. If things go as per the plan, the schedule of IPL 2020 will be announced in July.
