Patanjali in the Race to Bid IPL 2020 Title Sponsorship:- Chinese mobile giant Vivo opted out from the title sponsorship of IPL for this year though the contract is on till 2022. BCCI is confident that they would find the right sponsor for the year. IPL 2020 will commence in United Arab Emirates (UAE) this year from September 19th. The arrangements are on and all the necessary permissions are acquired. As per the latest news, Baba Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurved is in the race to the bid for the title sponsorship for IPL 2020. The slot for the title sponsorship of IPL 2020 is still open.
Patanjali is in plans to gain global recognition through IPL 2020. Patanjali is focused on the exports of Ayurveda based FMCG products and they felt that IPL 2020 would be a perfect platform to promote their products. Patanjali spokesperson S K Tijarawala told that they are currently considering and this would help our products reach wider audience. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is accepting the proposals till August 14th after which the final call would be taken. Vivo paid a huge amount of Rs 2190 crores for the title sponsorship of IPL from 2018 to 2022. BCCI will take the final call next week after which an announcement about the final bidder for the title sponsorship would be made.
