IPL 2020: Chennai Super Kings Shocks Kolkata Knight Riders:- Chennai Super Kings who had a terrific IPL in almost all the seasons remained low and are at the rock bottom in the points table of IPL 2020. The team faced criticism for their poor performance and are out of IPL 2020 and they will have to stay away from the playoffs. In a battle last evening, Chennai Super Kings fought with Kolkata Knight Riders and registered a thrilling victory of the last ball. Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to field first. Kolkata managed to get a decent total of 172 for the loss of 5 wickets in their 20 overs. Nitish Rana (87) is the top scorer of the side and Shubman Gill (26), Dinesh Karthik (21 not out) are decent among the other batsmen.

Lungi Ngidi (2/34), Ravindra Jadeja (1/20) and Mitchell Santner (1/30) are decent among the bowlers of Chennai Super Kings. The defending team surprised everyone and chased the target by the last ball of the innings. Chennai Super Kings scored 178 for the loss of 4 wickets in their 20 overs. Ruturaj Gaikwad (72), Ambati Rayudu (38) and Ravindra Jadeja (31 not out) have been decent and took the team towards the victorious path. Among the bowlers of Kolkata Knight Riders, Varun Chakravarthy (2/20), Pat Cummins (2/31) are good with the ball and got the best numbers.

The match took place in Dubai International Stadium and Ruturaj Gaikwad has been named as the Player of the Match for his 72 from 53 balls. In today's match, Kings XI Punjab will fight with Rajasthan Royals. Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Banglore, Delhi Capitals and Kings XI Punjab are in the top four places in the points table of IPL 2020.
