BCCI Earns Rs 4000 Cr Through IPL 2020:- The outbreak of coronavirus left the whole world shattered. All the happenings, sports events, movies and others came to a halt. The prestigious IPL which will be held during summer every year got delayed. The IPL 2020 was held by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The tournament was shifted to UAE and is conducted in closed stadiums. BCCI was staring at huge losses before the tournament commenced. With all the sports events canceled and people restricting themselves to their homes during this pandemic season, IPL 2020 turned out to be a huge hit and generated huge profits for everyone. The IPL 2020 was held between September and November.

Vivo suspended their deal for IPL and Dream 11 joined the list. Not a single case of coronavirus was reported during the tournament and all the precautions were taken. As per the report, BCCI is said to have earned a whopping profit of Rs 4000 crores through IPL 2020. The tournament also received record viewership. BCCI Treasurer Arun Dhumal announced the news about the profits earned by the BCCI. He said that the Board had a cost-cutting of 35 percent before the tournament and the viewership went up by 25 percent. The highest was for the opening game between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.

Dhumal said that over 30,000 coronavirus tests are conducted and over 1500 people got involved in IPL 2020. Mumbai Indians ended up as the winner of IPL 2020.
