Rohit Sharma to miss the Australian Test Series:- Indian star opener Rohit Sharma is suffering from an injury that kept him away from the Indian tour with Australia. His fans and the BCCI had hopes that Rohit Sharma may recover soon and will join the team in Australia. Rohit Sharma along with Indian bowler Ishant Sharma will miss the season of Indian cricket in Australia. The duo will not recover before the four-test series between Australia and India which will be held between December 17th and January 19th next year. Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma are taking rehab at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.

The Board received an update that their reports are not so encouraging and they would miss the Australian tour. The team management along with the BCCI officials are informed about their fitness update by the NCA officials. Indian coach Ravi Shastri recently commented that they would have a chance to board the flight 3-4 days before the test series commences in Australia. The BCCI and the team management decided to send Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma to Australia if they are completely recovered and are fit. Team India traveled to Australia after the IPL season and are currently busy with the practice sessions.
