Second Test with Australia: India on the edge of the Victory:- Team India is on its way for their revenge plan against Australia after the former lost badly in the first test. Australia landed in trouble after they tumbled down for 195 in their first innings against India. Jasprit Bumrah (4/56) and Ravichandran Ashwin (3/35) took the major wickets. Team India reported a record title of 326 in their first innings. Shubman Gill (45), Ajinkya Rahane (112) and Ravindra Jadeja (57) have been outstanding among the Indian batsmen. After taking a lead in the first innings, Team Indian bowlers performed well once again in the second innings.

Australia is struggling at 133 for the loss of six wickets by the end of third day of the second test. Matthew Wade (40) was the top scorer for the side and Cameron Green, Pat Cummins are batting for the Australian side. Australia is now leading by 2 runs. India are short of the victory and are confident to take the lead against Australia as the pressure is mounting on the side. Ravindra Jadeja took two wickets for the Indian side and Jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Ravichandran Ashwin took one wicket each. Australia is currently leading the Gavaskar - Border Trophy by 1-0.
