India thrash England in the fourth test to enter the WTC Final:- As predicted, Team India registered a simple victory against England in the fourth and the final test to make it to the final of the World Test Championship. India will play with New Zealand in the World Test Championship final between June 18th and 22nd this year. India won the fourth test by an innings and 25 runs. India restricted England to 135 in their second innings and the test match got completed during the third session of the third day in the final test. Dan Lawrence (50) and Joe Root (30) are the top scorers for the side among the English batsmen.
Ravichandran Ashwin (5/47) and Axar Patel (5/48) took the complete wickets of the England batsmen. Before this, England won the toss and elected to bat first. England went all out for 205 and India made 365 in their first innings. England tumbled down badly in their second innings for 135 and reported an easy victory for India. Team India bagged the test series by 3-1. England will play 5 T20s with India starting from March 12th. India is also leading the list of the ICC World Test Championship Rankings and is followed by New Zealand, Austrailia and England.
