England tumbles down in the First Test against India:- Team India has been touring in England and they are in a bubble for the past few weeks. The first test match between India and England commenced yesterday in Trent Bridge. England won the toss and they decided to bat first. The English batsmen could not withstand before the pace of the Indian bowlers and tumbled down for 183 in their first innings. England captain Joe Root (64) is the top scorer for the side and Jonny Bairstow (29), Zak Crawley (27) and Sam Curran (27) contributed the rest for the team. Jasprit Bumrah packed a punch with his 4/46 and attacked the English batsmen.
Another Indian pacer Mohammed Shami (3/28) got the best figures. Shardul Thakur (2/41) and Mohammed Siraj (1/48) have been decent with the ball among the Indian bowlers. By the end of day one, India started their first innings and scored 21 runs without the loss of a wicket. Rohit Sharma (9 not out) and KL Rahul (9 not out) are at the crease. If the Indian batsmen dominate with the bat on the second day, there would be some high chances for the team to win the first test match. The pitch is quite favorable for pacers and we have to wait to see how the Indian batsmen withstand before the pace of the English bowlers. For now, Team India trials by 162 runs in the first innings of the first test match. India is playing five test matches in this series with England.
