Fifth Test Between India And England Rescheduled:- The fifth and the final test between India and England got suspended due to the fear of coronavirus in England's team and it was called off at the last minute. The match is now rescheduled and it would take place in July 2022. The England ad Wales Cricket Board announced that the fifth test is moved from Manchester to Edgbaston and it will be held from July 1st. The statement from the England Cricket Board (ECB) said "With India leading the series 2-1, the concluding fifth match will now take place from July 1, 2022, at Edgbaston, following an agreement between the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI),".

The ECB told that all the booked tickets will be valid and they would be adjusted as per the rearranged matchday in July 2022. The new ticket sales will be open next year as per the availability and the visitors can also request for a refund as per the schedule if the visitors cannot attend the match as per the new schedule. BCCI Chief Sourav Ganguly already revealed that the match will be an extension for the series and it is not a standalone game. Ganguly announced that the series will be completed with the fifth test. India is leading the test series by 2-1 and the last match was called off because of the coronavius cases reported among the support staff of the England team.
