India Seals T20 Series Against England:- The third and the final T20 between India and England took place in Trent Bridge, England last evening. England won the toss and they elected to bat first. England managed to put a top score on board and they made 215 for the loss of seven wickets in their 20 overs. Dawid Malan (77), Liam Livingstone (42 not out) and Jason Roy (27) are the top scorers for the side. Ravi Bishnoi (2/30), Harshal Patel (2/35) and Avesh Khan (1/43) donated good and took the wickets among the Indian bowlers. Chasing a target of 216, Indian batsmen could not manage to complete the target.
India ended up scoring 198 for the loss of 9 wickets in their 20 overs. Suryakumar Yadav (117), Shreyas Iyer (28) and Virat Kohli (11) have been the top scorers among the Indian batsmen. With India winning the first two T20s, they sealed the T20 series against England by 2-1. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been named as the Player of the Series and Reece Topley is awarded with the Player of the Match. Suryakumar Yadav surprised everyone with his century but he could not take the team to the winning streak. Team India will play three one-days with England and the first match starts tomorrow.
