"The pressure on my career took a toll on my mental health. I was in a room full of people but I felt that I was left alone. This is a feeling that lot of people experienced in their life. It is a serious issue and we have to be strong at all the times. This can shatter your career for sure. It is always needed to take enough rest for a sportsperson and recover from the mounting pressure. There would be lot of metal pressure apart from the physical pressure and you have to reconnect yourself. If you lose that connection, it would take a longer time for things to crumble around" told Virat Kohli. The top cricketer announced about his depression a couple of months ago before he decided to take a break from the sport.
