Virat Kohli revealed that he was in a good place now. "Me standing in a bad space will not do good for me or for the team. No one should run away from this. Taking a break is not a bad thing. When I left the test captaincy, I received a message from only one person and he was MS Dhoni. Many people have my number, but none of them messaged me. A lot of people have given me suggestions on TV and other platforms. That connection of being genuine is the need of the hour. Dhoni doesn't need anything from me and I don't need anything from him. He was never insecure of me or I was for him. If anyone is ready to give suggestions in front of the world, it doesn't value me. I live and lead a honest life" told Virat Kohli.
