Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB) team captain Virat Kohli was unhappy about their loss to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on home ground. RCB lost the match by 21 rums at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. KKR kept a huge target of 200/5 and RCB failed to chase it. Kohli made it clear that only because of unprofessional fielding by their team players they lost the match.
Virat Kohli said, “We deserve to lose because we weren't professional enough in the field. I call it a freebie to KKR. Balls, which were not wicket-taking balls, but we ended up hitting the fielder four to five times in the innings. If we are going to all these in one night, definitely we are going to be on the losing side. Only one partnership was getting away and we were just one more partnership away from chasing down the target. We are going to work on the points that we lose tonight and we are going to play some really good cricket .”
Virat Kohli was frustrated with the RCB loss and made some frustrated comments about the team. Virat Kohli (54) was caught at the deep mid-wicket by Venkatesh Iyer in a stunning dive catch.
