The fancy number of AP 09 CR 6666 has gone for Rs.1,81,500/- for which a brand new Nano car can be purchased or an used car of higher brand in the best condition. But it may not be right to think in those terms. After all a price paid is nothing when compared to the joy of getting it that is valueless. One cannot value a joy, happiness and a satisfaction one derives. And when it is compared to the cost of the Rolls Royce for which the number is obtained, the cost of the fancy number paid is reasonable. The intrinsic value is not considered always. If a painting costs lakhs of rupees it cannot be compared with the cost of canvas and paints used on it.
