A Teary Farewell For Roger Federer:- Tennis legend Roger Federer announced his retirement last week and this brought a shock to the entire world and his fans. Roger Federer participated in the doubles in the Laver Cup last night after which he received an emotional farewell. Roger Federer could not control his emotions and he wept before the crowds. Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal got defeated in the doubles by Jack Sock and Frances Tiago. All the players at the Laver Cup paid their emotional tribute to Roger Federer after the final game came to an end. Roger Federer called his journey wonderful. His wife and family members too were present and they were quite emotional. He said that he is happy and not sad. Some of the greatest players of this generation were present for the farewell of Roger Federer.

Roger Federer has several records to his name and he is one of the finest players of all time. He wanted to play with his greatest rival and friend Nadal. Roger Federer hugged Nadal and his teammates before he broke into tears. Soon after this, Nadal too broke into tears. "It's been wonderful. And of course playing with Rafa, on the same team, having all the guys here and all the legends, Rocket [Rod Laver], Stefan Edberg - thank you. It is amazing, it really is [to share the court with Rafa and the others]. I didn't want it to feel lonely out there. It felt lonely for a second when they told me to come out one more time, it didn't feel great. But to say goodbye in a team, I always felt I was a team player at heart" told Roger Federer.
