For singletons looking for love, here is a word of caution: don't date on a Monday. Yes, Monday blues can actually dampen your date!
Experts say that if you set up a date at the beginning of the week, there is a good chance of its getting called off for apparent reasons like exhaustion, work, gym or other weekday commitments.
Dating on a weekend is a much better prospect since respondents are unlikely to cancel a date on a week night.
Kate Taylor, resident relationship expert at match.com, said: 'Saturday nights have an in-built feeling of fun which adds excitement to any date, and they come with the added bonus of extra hours of preparation time. It comes as no surprise that Mondays are the least popular, as people often tend to be either overwhelmed by their weekday workload or still tired out from their weekend activities.'
So next time, before you fix a date with that neighborhood hottie or next office dude, check your day!
