Indians are on yet another wild goose chase, seems have not recovered from the debacle state, at lunch. Oz score 343/7, going strong.
The Indian debacle seems inevitable after the batsmen failed the side to post a strong score in the third Test against the Australians at Perth. The second day today was a little better for the bowler Umesh Yadav who claimed three wickets before lunch. But otherwise it was the same story for the visitor s on international grounds. Indians bound to resume the debacle as in England last year. The seniors have once again failed to post a good total in their first innings and just made 161. The Oz took over and went to punish the weak Indian bowling attack by making 343/6 in 68 overs. The home team leads the visitors by 182 runs. With two more days the Indian side is sure to face the wrath of the fans once again.
In spite of a breather to Warner went on to score a big one for the Australians, when Virat Kohli, standing at the first slip for off-the-field Rahul Dravid, dropped a regulation catch off Zaheer's bowling. The visitors wrapped up on the first day in a timid fashion. The Australians went in to bat, with confidence. And David Warner made 180 runs in 159 balls, punishing the ball for 20 boundaries and 5 sixes. Ed Cowan helped him with a splendid knock of 74 runs. The Australians posted a total of 343/7 in 68 overs.
The match at W.A.C.A. Ground, Perth, Australia has nothing much for the Indians at the moment, must see how it turns on the third day. (AarKay)
