Sharukh to listen to MCA life-ban music

The fifth edition of Indian Premier League going on at the moment is filled with all emotions listed in the life book. On Wednesday the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) had reasons to rejoice and remorse looking at the on and off field results. The remorseful point was KKR Franchiser and Bollywood star Sharukh Khan, faces humiliation on his home turf. He is alleged to have abused and misbehaved with security personnel and its officials after the match. For this the star entertainer might face a life time ban from entry in to the stadium.

Mumbai Cricket Association:

"He (Mr Khan) misbehaved and abused the MCA security personnel as well as MCA officials, including our president Vilasrao Deshmukh, after the IPL match (between KKR and Mumbai Indians). We have decided to ban him for life from entering the stadium in future," MCA treasurer Ravi Savant said.  Such a ban will mean that the actor will not be allowed into the stadium for any match - Test, ODI or T20.  "SRK was dead drunk, our security tried to stop him but he pushed him and abused in such filthy language that I cannot use it here. Our officials tried to pacify him but he started abusing them, he abused MCA, BCCI and used the f word and said whatever you want to do you do it...," Mr Savant said.

On the other hand the team posted a tremendous victory against the Mumbai Indians, in the 65th match played at Wankhede Stadium. This was the rejoicing point for the visitors who regained their second position on the points table, pushing the temporary visitor MI to the third spot.

It may be noted that recently the spot fixing scam plagued the game. It has taken toll on five players from various teams. Board of Cricket Control in India has suspended Shalabh Srivastava, Amit Yadav (Kings XI Punjab), Mohnish Mishra (Pune Warriors India), Abhinav Bali (played for Delhi Giants in the erstwhile Indian Cricket League) and TP Sudhindra (Deccan Chargers) from all forms of cricket after being embroiled in a corruption scandal after a news channel carried out a sting operation on them.

The Shahrukh controversy only goes on to prove that the country’s most luxurious and lucrative encounter is taking ugly turn which seems bad for the game and the society as well. By banning Sharukh, MCA will not only deprive the star of some valuable moments but would also deprive the fans of some good entertainment. On the other hand the highhandedness of the star has to be condemned. Hope things get sort out amicably and the prestige of the sport maintained. For the benefit of Cricket, that is supposed to be a `game of gentlemen’ well followed by billions across the globe. (With Inputs from Internet- Aarkay)
