IPL: Hyd stun B’lore and ruin their chances, MI too much for Rajasthan

On Sunday, Deccan Chargers shine in their last game of the tournament and ruin the chances of Royal Challengers Bangalore in a match played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium Hyderabad. The match which is the match no: 71 in the ongoing fifth season of Indian Premier League. In the 72 match Mumbai Indians proved too much for their Rajasthan Royal opponents in the match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium Jaipur. On the whole the Hyderabad match was much enjoyed by the fans. Deccan chargers surprise Bangalore:
In the last IPL match at Hyderabad, the local heroes throw a stunner against their Bangalore counterparts and ruin their playoff chances. Bangalore won the toss and put the home team to bat. The captain of the visitors Virat Kohli made 42 runs, while Gayle made 27 and Tiwary 30 runs the rest succumbed to Steyn. The magnificent bowling which scripted the home victory Steyn was the `Man of the Match’. Chennai has to thank Steyn for getting into the play offs, commencing on Tuesday.
Mumbai too much for Rajasthan:
Mumbai proves too much for Rajasthan Royals led by Rahul Dravid. RR wins the toss and elects to bat and wind up at 162/6, with a big knock from Shane Watson who scored 45 runs. Dhawal Kulkarni from Mumbai does the maximum damage to the home team by claiming three wickets. MI came in to bat with a target of 163 runs, finished the match in a meticulous fashion without losing a wicket loss in the eighteenth over. Sachin Tendulkar and Dwayne Smith on a jubilant node finish the match with scores of 58 and 87. Between them the pair created an IPL record of 163-run opening-wicket partnership.
