RCB players have not been paid for IPL 5 yet

A few players in Royal Challengers Banglore who have been on contract with the franchisee have not received their first installments even after the Indian Premier League this season is long finished.

There are many players who are quoted in the list, domestic and international, including the team captian, Daniel Vettori.

Andrew Mc Donald, the all rounder from Australia is also yet to receive his remunerations. Players aside, the supporting staff have also been kept from their deserving moolah according to ESPNcricinfo.

This is the first time such an incident was reported and the players are beginning to worry as the franchisees are not responding to their queries. Players on the list hail from India, South Africa, New Zealand and Sri Lanka.

One player has found saying that the players were all kept in the dark as no information was being released to them.

According to the agreement signed between the player, the franchise and the IPL, the player receives 15% of his fee for the season by April 1 (before the IPL or early into it), 50% by May 1 (during the IPL or towards its end), 20% after the Champions League T20 and the remaining 15% by December 1.

Royal Challengers Banglore franchisee seems to have forgotten the schedule as they are far behind it.
