Micromax launches Canvas Tab P681 in India

Micromax has unveiled a new voice-calling tablet in India, the Canvas Tab P681. Additionally, the budget Bolt Q326+ has been launched as well, and is available exclusively via ShopClues. The new Micromax Canvas Tab P681 tablet is now available exclusively via Flipkart at Rs. 7,499. The Bolt Q326+ is available at Rs 3,499.

The Micromax Canvas Tab P681 tablet features an 8-inch (1280x800 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8321 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The handset comes with 16GB inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). The Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes with single-SIM card slot and supports voice-calling. It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and also packs a 2-megapixel front camera.

Micromax is promoting the Canvas Tab P681 tablet as all-in-one entertainment device, and highlighting the DTS dual box speakers on board. Connectivity options on the tablet include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and USB OTG. It is backed by a 4000mAh battery.

Commenting on the launch, Shubhajit Sen, Chief Marketing Officer, Micromax Informatics said, "We at Micromax have established ourselves as leaders in the tablet segment with our continued innovation to best fit users' requirements. Thus with this new product Canvas Tab P681, we intend to further bolster our leadership position and bring the best immersive sound experience to give a full- fledged entertainment sojourn to our valued consumers."

The Micromax Bolt Q326+ features a 4-inch WVGA display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. There is an 8GB of built-in storage which is expandable via microSD card. It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and also packs a 0.3-megapixel front camera. The Android 5.0 Lollipop-based smartphone is backed by a 1400mAh battery. It will be available in Grey and Champagne colours.
