Samsung Back to the Top Slot in the First Quarter in India:- Samsung was once the leader in the country in mobile phone sales. Samsung even dethroned Nokia and raced to the top once smartphones took the lead. Soon, Redmi and other Chinese products created a dent for Samsung after they introduced budgeted phones across Indian markets. Samsung is now back to the top after the introduction of Galaxy S10 series. Samsung is the leader of the list in the first quarter of 2019 with 68.9% share by volume and 65.9% share by value. In the month of March alone, Samsung clocked 76.5% of the market share.

Samsung Galaxy S10 series is a clear winner in Indian market which was launched in March this year. The 5.8-inch Galaxy S10e, 6.1-inch Galaxy S10 and the 6.4-inch Galaxy S10+ feature the world's first "Dynamic AMOLED" display. The pre-bookings for Galaxy S10 are twice as much as S9. The Galaxy S10 line now starts at Rs 46,900 and Indian users are now offered a cashback of Rs 11,000. Galaxy S10 is being manufactured in India. Samsung is in plans to continue to lead the Indian market in the coming months.
