iQOO 12 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC launched in India:- Introducing the iQOO 12 series, iQOO has recently launched its flagship smartphone in India. Equipped with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the iQOO 12 is set to rival the upcoming OnePlus 12, which also boasts the same processor and is scheduled to release in India in January 2024. Featuring a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels, the iQOO 12 offers a variable refresh rate of 144Hz. Its 1.5K display delivers a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and is IP64 certified to provide a certain degree of dust and water protection.
Under the hood, the iQOO 12 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, manufactured on a 4nm process. To handle all graphics-intensive tasks, it is equipped with the Adreno 750 GPU. The smartphone boasts a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 64MP secondary telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
For all your selfie and video calling requirements, the iQOO 12 features a 16MP front camera, capable of capturing up to 1080p video at 30fps. The iQOO 12 features a diverse selection of camera modes on its camera app, including snapshot, night, portrait, panorama, ultra slo-mo, time-lapse, long exposure, supermoon, astro, tilt-shift, and more.
Equipped with a 5000 mAh battery, the iQOO 12 offers fast charging capabilities with a 120W charger included in the package. It is the first smartphone in India, following the Pixel phones, to operate on Android 14 and is accompanied by the company's custom FunTouchOS 14 skin. The iQOO 12 is available in two variants: the 12GB RAM/256GB storage version priced at ₹52,999 and the 16GB RAM/512GB storage version priced at ₹57,999. By using HDFC and ICICI bank cards, customers can further reduce the price of the iQOO 12 by ₹3,000.
