Samsung has launched the latest model of its F series in India, the Galaxy F55 5G. According to the company, this is the thinnest and lightest leather smartphone in its segment this year. It's powered by the Snapdragon Gen chipset, has improved OS support, and has a rugged design with a mixable finish. The Samsung Galaxy F55 was launched in three variants: 8GB+128GB priced at Rs 26,999, 8GB + 256GB priced at Rs 29,999 and finally 12GB+256GB priced at Rs 32,999. The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is available for purchase on e-commerce sites like Flipkart and Samsung's online and offline stores in India. Apart from Poco F6, Nothing Phone 2a, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Realme GT 6T are also available in the market at this price. The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset and 12GB of RAM.
It has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a frequency of 120 Hz. It has an IP67 rating, so it is dust and water resistant. The phone weighs less than 190 grams. It has a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, there is a 50 MP camera for selfies. The phone comes with One UI 6 based on Android 14. Samsung has committed to providing four generations of Android updates and five years of security updates to the device. The Galaxy F55 5G has a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. The charger can be purchased separately. For security, you get an in-display fingerprint sensor and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer.
