Lakshmi Manchu, daughter of yesteryears hero Mohanbabu, is trying hard to pocket a hit with her next movie ‘Gundello Godari’. For this, she is heavily relying on the music of veteran music director and the melody king Ilayaraja.
Lakshmi, who is producing the movie, has recently completed fruitful music sessions with Ilayaraja who had composed excellent tunes for some worthy lyrics, according to sources.
The music sessions were held in the serenity of Munnar picaresque locales in the first week of April, it is learnt. If necessary, they will hold some more music sessions. Ilayaraja is also giving music for the mythological film of Balakrishna ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ which is shooting now.
