The well noted film maker, Elder Son of Veteran film maker Dr. D. Rama Naidu, Daggubati Suresh has been unanimously elected president of Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce.

Suresh Babu was unanimously elected to be the President. All the Celebs from Telugu film industry participated and made the use of their voting right. Post the election, when the result was announced, on his winning Speech, Suresh Babu said that, all the long-standing problems faced by the Telugu film industry will be taken care and solutions will be implemented in the coming days.  He has been elected in the elections held for the period 2011-12.

Speaking to the media after his election, Suresh Babu said it is only because of the co-operation of everyone from the industry; it has been possible to answer some difficult issues, in the past. Suresh Babu expressed his wish of receiving the same support, even in near future. In the election conducted by producers, film distributors and exhibitors, a committee has also been formed.  It comprises of eminent personalities like K Ashok Kumar, M Ramesh, P V Ravikishore and others.  The Producers' Council will be headed by Natti Kumar and Dil Raju will be serving duties being the vice-president.
