Two biggest films to hit screens for Diwali..

TwoCinemasSeventh Sense, starring Tamil super star Suriya, is all set to hit the screens for Diwali. The film has already raised the expectations to a new level with Ghajini combo coming back again.

Murugadoss, known for directing Stalin is a well-known name in Telugu and Suriya also enjoys the affection of Tollywood audience. Seventh Sense is expected to release in more than 400 theatres in Andhra Pradesh alone. This is the second biggest release for a dubbing film after Rajinikanth’s Robo. If the film lives up to the expectations, then Seventh Sense is going to set new record as a dubbed film in the State.

B Subramanyam of Lakshmi Ganapathi Films, the production house which has bought Telugu rights of the movie, Said: “7th Sense is going to create a history like our erstwhile ventures Gajini, Stalin and Aparachitudu. No doubt this movie will take our banner to new heights.

Suriya will treat the audience with his astonishing performance and Shruthi Haasan has had equal footage to showcase her talent skills. A Hollywood hero is playing a lead villain role in the movie.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's RA.One is all set to be the biggest Bollywood release ever opening in approximately 5000 screens worldwide. In India alone, the sci-fi flick will occupy over 3,500 screens, which is easily 30 per cent more than the last big release. Shah Rukh Khan has left no stone unturned to make his dream project "RA.One" a success and at Rs.150 crore is the third Indian film to cross the Rs.100 crore mark.

According to film historian S.M.M. Ausaja, RA.One could well be the third biggest high-budget film from India. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh has carried out  extensive promotional activities for this movie, travelling to various places across India. In fact, he teamed up with 25 brands and toured eight cities for promoting the movie.

Akshay Kumar starrer 2009 movie "Blue" was the first film which was made on a mega budget of Rs.129 crore, while Rajinikanth's blockbuster "Endhiran" (2010) was made at Rs.190 crore and tops the list. Other Bollywood big tickets have been under Rs.100 crore. Aamir Khan's "Ghajini" cost Rs.65 crore, while Kareena Kapoor starrer "Kambakkht Ishq" and Harman Baweja's "Love Story 2050" were made at Rs.60 crore. Epic films like Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai starrer "Jodha Akbar", Shah Rukh's "Devdas" and sci-fi film "Krrish" were made within Rs.50 crore.

RA.One Becomes the Third Bollywood Movie to Go Past 100 Crores in Spending. The superhero film RA.One is reported to have around 3,500 VFX (visual effects) shots. This is said to have even outstripped Hollywood blockbuster James Cameron's Avatar that had around 2,700 VFX shots. RA.one is the first film in India to make use of Near Field Communications (NFC) technology.
