The Anti Corruption crusader’s three day proposed fasting, at Mumbai ended abruptly. Because of health say Doctors and Media call it lack of support. But let us not get into controversies. The fact is the abrupt ending of Anna Hazare’s fasting, was a moment of jubilation in the Congress Camp (I suppose). But two people who were irked by the issue must be Writer-director Rumi Jaffery and of course the other must be his hero Akshaye Khanna. The duo are coming together for their latest film, Gali Gali Mein Chor Hai, which deals extensively on anti corruption and dirty politics.

This would have made an ideal platform for the film’s publicity and the crew decided to join the Gandhian on the third day, when the maximum crowd would be expected. But their plan went awry with the abrupt ending.  The director agreed and said, ` We were definitely looking forward to joining Anna Saab. This wasn't to cash in on his name. That our film is based on anti-corruption is a happy coincidence. But the rally ended abruptly. Our plans had to be dropped.’

Poor Akshaye he seems to desperately need lady luck to cast her magic spell on him. Are you listening Lady Luck……
