Well, if you have only seen Samantha as ‘Jessie’ in ‘Em Maya Chesaave’, it would have been very hard for us to believe this. but, Samantha proved her interest in ‘Mass’ roles, by accepting those films and roles, that would get her more close to mass crowd. Be it her glamour appearance in ‘Brindaavanam’ or the recent success ‘Dookudu’, Samantha chose herself to be more glamorous, not giving much importance to the performance. On the other hand, Samantha is balancing this act of performance and glamour going hand in hand, by opting for much challenging role in Raja Mouli’s directorial ‘Eega’, that is scheduled for a release this summer.

Samantha is once again pairing up with Naga Chaitanya, in another mass flick ‘Auto Nagar Surya’. It was at this time, Samantha said she prefers to do more glamorous roles and be close to mass audience, ‘I have always wanted to play those roles as per my age and make me sustain in the industry. The roles like ‘Jessie’ are good to play once in a while and cannot be continued. But, all those glamorous roles played in mass entertainers make you sustain in the industry and that this what I want. I am once again playing a complete entertaining role in another mass flick ‘Auto nagarsurya’. I am sure audience would love this film as well’ said the actress.

Is it because Samantha is really in love with mass roles o because appearing more glamorous gets her more roles and more fame?
