If there's anyone in Bollywood who cares less for image and concentrates more on acting and classic cinema, then it has to be Abhay Deol. He’s one actor who has all praises from film critics—reasons being so simple that he can go to any extent for experimenting with films and that’s what the classic Indian Cinema demands. The age where there’s not much scope for experiments keeping in view the cut throat competition and increasing fan base, none actually likes to be in the shoes of Abhay Deol.
Imagine, this actor is going to be seen as a 40-year-old IAS officer in the upcoming flick Shanghai. In another film by Prakash Jha—Chakravyuh, Abhay Deol will appear as a naxalite. The shooting of this film is currently underway in Bhopal.
The sources said that Abhay Deol has been taking extra efforts for ensuring that he does justice to the role besides to make sure the character looks original. Also, this is the first time Abhay Deol is working with Prakash Jha and the sources close to Bollywood have said that Abhay was happy over the project. Chakravyuh will apparently project the lives of naxalites. (Phani)
