Content of the film matters not budget spent

Yes, Gone are the days, that had huge budget films as hits and low budget movies were not even encouraged. Off late, it really does not matter if the movie is a big budget movie or a small budget. The audiences have become very choosy in watching movies and everyone prefers a good story line, fun, entertainment and most of all, it should not be boring.

People prefer comedy and good and interesting story line rather than mass masala and fights.
Even this year, small films have become a threat to the big movies. ‘E rojullo’ was never expected to be a hit when it got released. But, it picked up slowly as it had very good story line and seemed very practical for youth audience.  The director of this movie Maaruthi is getting lot of chances now due to its hit and the lead pair in this movie is acting together again.

Another such small movie is ‘Neeku Naaku’ directed by Teja with new star cast. Though it did not fare well at the box office it had created enough ripples in the market.

Big films like Rajanna and Racha on the other hand failed to make an impact on the audience.
Rajanna is a critically acclaimed movie but was not successful at box office. Racha is dragging on but on the name on biggies but not much contribution form story or direction.
