Sudigadu, which has hit theatres across the globe, has received positive responses from the public and even film critics too. The movie, which was said to be the scoop of over 100 films, reportedly entertained the audiences to the core. Some parodies on television reality show made audiences jump and laugh out of their seats, said Raghava, a film enthusiast who watched morning show of Sudigadu by standing in a long queue at Sandhya theatre in Hyderabad. He said he never expected that so much crowd would throng for a comedy film wherein getting tickets was no easy task.

Allari Naresh starrer Sudigadu received a thumbs up due to the novelty in the subject. Although a Tamil movie was released with the same concept two years ago, the concept is something new for the audience. Meanwhile, film critics said that this is the first time wherein a comedy movie got so much of response. All in all, Naresh got a block buster hit with Sudigadu after a long gap.
