Poor Anushka was in tears recently on the sets of a Tamil film Alex Pandian. The incident unfolded as the actor was joining the crew after about a month to shoot her part. As usual she arrived on the location with her own makeup woman and entered the venue. The local film workers belonging to the FEFSI union had objected to the actor bringing in an outsider thereby spoiling the lively hood of a local worker.
The actor tried to give an explanation, but invain and the workers fury surged while the arguments, as usual. And it was noted that many agitators used foul language against the actor. Instantly the distressed star was in sob. And tears rolled down the actor which did not pacify the agitators, who took advantage and halted the shooting for a considerable time.
Meanwhile the lead actor of the film Karti Sivakumar intervened and pacified both the parties and arranged an amicable situation by playing the good Samaritan’s role.
Alex Pandian is directed by Suraj and Produced by K. E. Gnanavelraja for Studio Green. Devi Sri Prasad scores the music and the film is distributed by Vendhar Movies S.Madhan.
