Katrina Kaif made it to the headlines once again though the vibe of Ek Tha Tiger has settled after its humongous collections breaking records all over the nation. This time the news was not completely due to her movies; instead it was her involvement of the violation of the airport rules at the Mumbai International Airport on Sunday. He had just returned from Chicago after her shooting for the Aamir Khan starrer, Dhoom 3. She had landed with two assistants at the airport but had not carried back any luggage through the green channel.
She actually had forgotten her baggage and had sent back her assistants P Chaddha and Arun Sharma to collect the luggage which had been in her name and had violated the rule of fliers not being allowed to re-enter the terminal after they move out of it.
They however couldn't slip past the customs officials and had been fined for the possession of Indian currency higher than permitted (Rs 30,000) and undeclared. In addition they also had an iPad, two bottles of whisky purchased from a duty free shop. They were both fined Rs 2000 and Rs 10,000 respectively. The penalty was forced under the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, which limits the amount of Indian currency a passenger can carry abroad.
Katrina however played safe by returning from the airport without landing herself in trouble directly but officials have demanded that Katrina would have to provide and explanation for violating the rules at the airport.
