Gen Next Superstar Surya embarks on his bilingual flick Singham 2 (Yamudu 2 in Telugu), which is simultaneously shot in both the languages. Recently the film crew organized the pooja for the flick and many lead people attended the event. Noted actor and Surya's bro' Karti was the main guest of honour. Vinayaga Chaturthi was the special day for the crew for embarking on the sequel. The part one was a super hit when released.
The film was remade in Hindi and it conquered the box office there as well. After the pooja Surya's entire family was present on the opening of the new film. And they served the guests with sumptuous lunch on the festive occasion. Veteran actor Sivakumar (Surya's father) was the highlight of the event held in Chennai.
Surya who totally opposed sequels has now taken a u-turn, say sources. This time too Anushka will be teaming up with the star while Hansika shall the second in the lead.
Noted music composer Devisri Prasad shall do the music, while K. E. Gnanavel Raja will produce this film. OK OK fame comedian Santhanam shall don a prominent role in this flick. The shot is to be well spread over southern destinations like Chennai, Hyderabad, Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli and Karaikudi. Where as the songs and the fights will be pictured in South Africa and Kenya.
