There's always a notion that only big budget movies play well at the box office and it require at least a crore or two in order to produce a film. Proving this point wrong, Ravi Babu came out with Avunu movie. D Suresh Babu produced this movie with a budget of Rs. 45 lakh only. And fortunately the movie became not just a commercial hit but even drew good reviews from film critics. Now buzz is that many Bollywood producers approached Ravi Babu to remake this film in Hindi. There's so far no confirmation on this film. In case Avunu makes it big in Bollywood, then Bollywood will get another maverick director from Tollywood after Ram Gopal Varma.
