A Woman in Brahmanism, an erotic movie based on Chalam's novel, is drawing criticism from many sections of the society. Even advocates are taking on this movie on online forums and micro-blogging websites. A few people went ahead and even complained to the chief minister on this movie and urged that the movie be stopped from being released. Can people jump to conclusions without even watching a film is the question, which has been bothering many people.
Noted producer Lakshmi Manchu too seems to be confused as to why people were going against this movie. She reportedly said that when people can accept a porn star such as Sunny Leone in the mainstream cinema, she couldn't understand why people were going against A Woman in Brahmanism movie, which was not even released.
