Murgadoss' Thupaki starring Vijay and Kajal has been the much awaited film from three categories of people-one being the adorers of classic Indian cinema (since the movie was directed by Murgadoss), second one being the fans of Vijay and third set of audience are the Kajal admirers. Therefore, all these people have to wait for another one week to see this much anticipated flick on screen. It is known that them movie was scheduled for November 9th release but the film unit has reportedly declared that Thupaki was released on November 13.

The movie of Thupaki would revolve around a couple of police officers who will be in a hot pursuit to nab the criminals. Although such subjects are not new to people, how Murgadoss would present it is the main point, which has been dragging attention of the people and even the media. This is a bi lingual movie, which would be released in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh in Tamil and Telugu versions respectively.
