Universal star Kamal Haasan, who was in Hyderabad recently, has spoke to the media about Vishwaroopam. He has said that the idea of releasing his movie on DTH platform was not something new but was in his mind five years ago. He was just waiting for DTH to come in the country, he said. Vishwaroopam even has one of the most critically acclaimed actors of India, Rahul Bose. This movie reportedly revolves around terrorism subject. Speaking about the same, Kamal Haasan has ruled out the rumours that the movie was against minorities. He said artistes were the minorities in the world and his movie Vishwaroopam is an international movie.

For the first time ever in the world, Vishwaroopam is going to be released on DTH platforms (Videocon and Airtel) on January 10, 9.30 pm. Those having these platforms need to recharge their accounts with Rs. 500 for Hindi version and Rs. 1000 for Tamil version and then subscribe to the movie through an SMS.
