Team of Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu held a success meet at Vijayawada on Wednesday. The film unit was happy with the overwhelming response for the movie. On the fourth day of release of SVSC, a few more theatres were added to the list of theatres screening this clean family movie. Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, which was released barely five days back, created a new history in Tollywood by becoming the first movie that made so many collections on the fifth day of its release. And the best part of it being that a movie without having mass elements becoming such a big hit.

Mahesh Babu, who spoke to the media, on the success of Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu has spoke to the media. He hailed his co-star Venkatesh and said it was he who knew the entire script of the movie. Also, he said he was happy with the success of SVSC. Later, Dil Raju spoke to the media. He asked the people to wait for a few days to see SVSC creating a new history in Tollywood. Further, he said two big stars certainly made the movie big. Without these stars, the movie might have remained as a good one but it was due to multi-starring that the movie attracted the people, said Dil Raju who even added stating that he would be accepting many more such decent subjects.

 The film critics have said that rarely a movie becomes a big hit at box office and at awards ceremony too. They hoped that SVSC would bag n number of awards. There has been so much of dissatisfaction among Telugu people that Telugu movie didn't receive a National Award for quite sometime. For all those guys, SVSC brought new hopes. They were of the opinion that Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu would undoubtedly bag the National Award in the best feature film category.
