Power Star's Gabbar Singh bring heaps of laurels to the star even on small screen. The film that was premiered on television grabs 24 points breaking records of Rajamouli's Magadheera which stayed on the top with 22 points. The second till date was Superstar Rajinikanth's Robo with 19 points and Rajamouli's technical marvel 'Eega with 18 points.

TRP rating for the Power Star's film broke its shackles and claimed the top position, that was the power of the star. Gabbar Singh was premiered during the Sankranti festival along with Julayi. It was bonanza for fans as this film brought the star into reckoning after a series of average films.

Pawan Kalyan in this hilarious action entertainer created a benchmark at the ticket counter by heaping in Rs  36 crores at the box office in the first week of its release, another history.

Gabbar Singh shows Pawan as a police officer who is all out to oust the villains with ease, admired by the public and dreaded by the antagonists.
