Income Tax sleuths are targeting the Mega production houses of Tollywood suspecting financial discrepancies. The latest victim to the raids by this department is Mega producer Bandla Ganesh. IT officers simultaneously raided the premises of this big time producer who is in the top league, claim sources. In the raid the officials seized some papers that support the discrepancies, add sources.

Bandla Ganesh who was speculated to be the close associate to a prominent political leader who wields a super power with center,  has been targeted by the IT. Ganesh suddenly rose to fame with his blockbuster, 'Gabbar Singh,'  staring 'Powerstar' Pawan Kalyan. Trade circles claim that this film had broken many old and created some new records, at the ticket counter in Tollywood history.

Recently another two big budget films are being produced by the same production unit. They are 'Baadshah' with junior NTR and 'Iddarammayilatho' with Allu Arjun.

However industry sources claim that this is not the first time in the recent past that the IT department was becoming vigilant over the Tollywood earnings. During the Sankranthi season, IT sleuths raided two more big time producers Dil Raju who produced the multi-starer 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalli Chettu' staring Venakatesh, Anjali, Mahesh Babu and Samantha.

Another victim was Ram Charan, Amala paul and Kajal Agarwal starer 'Naayak's' producer D V V Dhanaiyya. This ulterior move by the departments rings, alarm bells in the industry. (Wishesh AarKay)
