Jiah Khan (25) was found dead in her residence at Juhu in Mumbai by hanging.  Police are investigating the case.  

The actress who made her first appearance in the movie "Nishabd" made by Ram Gopal Varma in 2007 in which she acted with ease and with a lot of skin show that promised her a good future.  She played as a seducer of Amitabh Bachchan who in spite of wife and daughter's presence yields to her seductive advances and ultimately loses her and also his own family.  Although the movie received mixed response, Jiah was remembered by audience for a long time.  

Then Jiah also acted with Amir Khan in Ghajani, a remake of Ghajani with Surya in 2008.  After that, Jiah did not get much attention but for appearing in the movie Housefull in 2010 in which she shared a small portion as it was a multi starrer.  

Police are making inquiries with the neighbors of Jiah and her servant maid and watchman of the apartment to find out the reason for committing suicide.  Police are investigating from all angles to ascertain the cause of her hanging.
