To get opportunities in the show business, one should have luck no doubt in the first place and secondly they should have a good strategy to get chances and lastly acting talent.  There are many artists with great acting skills but have spent entire life just dreaming of getting a chance to show their face on the screen.  

Simran who acted in lead roles in Tamil and Telugu showing her tender, curvaceous and slender body and exhibited her acting talent went off the screen for some time due to her marriage followed by conceiving and delivering a baby.  As it is a natural phenomenon but not an end of life, Simran wanted to continue in her film career.  But it is not an easy thing for married woman to do that.  Even if the husband encourages, the producers and directors are skeptical about the cooperation of the heroines as they extended before marriage and that makes the heroines to be pushed to the corners.  Even an ad or a show room opening also will not be left open for them.  That is exactly where the strategy comes in.  

Simran started acting mother roles.  Mother role of a glamorous heroine to a young hero is as good as the lead role.  She acted as Surya’s mother previously and also again appearing as Suriya’s mother in the coming flick ‘Dhruva Nachatiram’.

Even if the remuneration is too low to that of a heroine, a mother or a mother in law’s role is a guaranteed one for life long without retirement.  More over directors think that the audience wants to see beauty on the screen whether the role is of a mother, mother in law, sister, a friend or a neighbor of the hero or heroine.  Audience nowadays wants to see glamour and costly back drop with some violent action to top it.

As such, Simran's decision is lauded by the cine lovers and cine personalities.
