The popular Tamil hero who also won many hearts of Telugu movie lovers turns 38 today.  Suriya who started his film career in 1997 acted in 29 films so far.  He has become famous in Telugu with ‘Gajani’.  Then his acting in Singam and Rakta Charitra made him a favourite hero for many in AP.  His upcoming films are Singam-2, Dhruva Nachathiram and one untitled movie by Linguswamy.

Suriya won three awards from the State of Tamil Nadu and three from Filmfare (South) awards.  He married Jyothika, equally famous actress in Tamil Nadu and they are blessed with two children Diya and Dev.

Suriya was born on 23rd July 1975 at Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu.  He is receiving greetings from many film personalities in the Tamil and Telugu film industries and near and dear.
