The Telangana Announcement that is expected in the evening today is feared to affect Telugu Cinema Industry.  

Immediate effect can be the loss that will be incurred at the box office.  The movies that are going to release this week and next may sustain losses.  Then the film industry has to reorganize keeping employment, taxation and other issues related to the Governments of two States.  

There can be problems in the outdoor shootings in and around Hyderabad till a separate Capital is constructed.

The entire industry is worried due to the current political development in the State.  Although an intensified demand for a separate State of Telangana has been going on for the last six years that caused hurdles here and there in the outdoor shootings and agitations at the theaters, the industry has not expected a sudden development of this sort.

Dil Raju luckily escaped from getting caught in the cross fire, with his wise decision of postponement of “Yevadu” from 31st July to 21st August.
