Akkineni star Nagarjuna has conceded that younger heroes have the advantage in the current box office scenario. Nag has spoken candidly about his seniority in the Telugu Film Industry saying that audiences are more excited about young actors than the 50 plus actors.
Hence, he plans to act in character driven roles in the future and get the distinction of having been a part of good films with good roles. Venkatesh and Jagapathi Babu have already shown their willingness to experiment with meaningful films. Nagarjuna seems to be the next among the senior lot to take this decision.
Nagarjuna has noted that he doesn't know how many more film he can carry solely on his shoulders and that he is keen to be associated with socially driven films. An Environment centric film would work for him, he says, adding that films with a social cause need to be handled intelligently.
This spells good news for son Akhil, who is preparing himself for a grand debut. Though he hasn't signed any film yet, it is said that Nagarjuna himself will give the green signal for any prospective script. As Akhil very much falls under the 'young heroes' category, it is advantage sisindri.
